The 3.5 inch to 5.25 inch adapter brackets allow 3.5 inch drives hard drives to be mounted in standard 5.25 inch drive bays. It works with IDE, SCSI, or SCA drives and includes screws to mount the drive.

Does what it
operating system:Not ApplicableFirst review of this item: It's a simple pair of brackets that allow you to mount a drive into a CD bay type space in your PC's Case. It comes with 8 screws - 4 for attaching the Hard Disk and these are standard screws, another 4 which are the kind you normally attach a CD Drive to. This works fine for SATA and IDE drives, I'm not sure about the other types of drive that exist (e.g. SCSI etc...)
Simple and effective
operating system:Not ApplicableCurrently at a very reasonable £1.70, this pair of brackets enable you to use unused 5-1/4" bays for hard drives. It makes sense to spread multiple hard drives out allowing space between them even if you have enough 3-1/2" bays.
The screws included are two sets of four with slightly different pitches. The fine pitch screws fit the bracket, the coarse ones fit the hard drive. Fit the brackets to the drive first.

operating system:Windows XPGreat items and well finished, when I first started buying these they were 89p apiece now £5.99 - wow what a price hike!
Great but ...
operating system:Windows XPWell built and all screws etc. provided. Bought quite a few in April 07 at 89p/ea plus VAT, however I can't see why they should be near £5 now though.
