Heads up to Mac users - also works with OS X
operating system:Mac OSXI bought this camera for my Mac (a non isight Powerbook) in the hope it might work with my machine. The fact it said 'driverless' implied it might be one of the newer USB UVC class cameras, which Macs equipped with at least Tiger (10.4) can use as an isight webcam without the need for drivers.
Mac users should be pleased to know this works. The system profiler reports it as:

I opened 'Photo Booth' and it works perfectly. You can also record movies from Quicktime etc. iChat and all the other web camera friendly apps should also be compatible. It has LEDs so you can use it in low light, which you can adjusted with a manual dimmer switch on the USB lead.
It's a bargain at the price and finally my Mac gets a webcam!

Works out of box under Ubuntu 9.10 .. no quirks
operating system:LinuxGot this to stick on my car dashboard and record journeys using Motion on an Acer Aspire One netbook running Ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix.
Linux sees it with not problems and the netbook captures very well at 15 frames per second but struggles at 30 fps (netbook ssd limitation I suspect!).
Very suited to car use with the sucker (which sticks like glue to a metal surface) and the bendy neck. Might get another to point out the rear window and then run some ANPR software (just kidding 8-).

Does what it says on the tin, a basic video webcam that has a suction cup for your tower/desk/monitor, and didn't need any drivers for me in Win7. Amazing price too!
