operating system:Windows VistaAdded this to the 2x 1GB sticks i already had, speeds up Vista a treat, had a few blue screens appear at first, so i moved the 2GB sticks in the first two slots on my motherboard, no problems now.
Fantastic for the price, and with them being 2GB sticks it leaves me with the option of upgrading to 8GB when the time comes, and i'm sure it will.
Good value Memory
operating system:Windows XPYou can`t go wrong with the Ebuyer extra value range of memory. Its a little bit like a mystery prize box at a fair ground. You put your hand in and you never know what it is you get until you get it.
When these arrived I was well surprised that I had Elixir branded memory. Very good memory for the price I thought! If it was Hynix I would have still been happy, as these two brands are well used within computer manufacturers, and are reliable and stable.
You never now, you might get some corsair value next, who knows, what fun.....
Great Value
operating system:Windows 7My RAM shows in CPUZ as Crucial Technology rated at 800MHz 6-6-6-18 and 1.8v. Have them clocked at 960mhz 6-6-6-18 with 1.95v and they are prime95 stable. Massive upgrade from my old 2gb kit, everything loads instantly. Very good value.
