operating system:Not ApplicableThese are great,10 quid, plug them in to usb and enjoy, simple as that. Lets be clear these are not high quality speakers you can crank right up or expect desk shaking base but they do exactly what they are suposed to do.Cheap, easy and worth every penny. I bought them to plug into a notebook dock so they replace the notebook speakers when its docked. For that or travel use they are great. They also come in a bag with a compartment for each speaker and one for the cable, presumably aimed at travel use, nice touch if you need it. USB cable could be a bit longer bit now I am getting picky. Has mute and vol control on the right speaker but I use the vol control from windows so dont use that feature.

Plugged in and working with no problems within seconds, great having no power cable.
The USB cable is a little short but I'm using a USB extension cable with no issues.
The sound quality is fine for £10 speakers, far better than my monitors speakers.
Nice gloss black finish to match my monitor.

operating system:Windows VistaDelivery only just arrived plugged them in via USB port and immediately impressed with the sound quality. Value for money these speakers are exceptional!
My laptop lacks a 3.5mm audio out jack (green) and I previously purchased a similar pair with a 3.5mm jack thus unable to use them.
USB powered speakers are far superior to 3.5mm jack speakers as they do not have to be powered from the mains, signal and power is supplied via the USB port.
The sound quality is very impressive for a £7.99 pair of speakers and there are volume and a mute button on the speakers .
Sound quality is consistent across a full range of volumes and the frequency range is impressive for such a cheap pair of speakers.
For reasonable use these speakers are excellent and very good value for money.
I consider their biggest strength to be that they are USB powered and do not have to be plugged into the mains.
An outstanding deal from ebuyer and I would recommend to all. :-))
Excellent value for money
operating system:Windows XPI doubt you'll find better value for money. I bought them to replace my Altec Lansing 2.1 setup on my desktop pc to save space and power. Whilst they obviously cannot produce the same quality sound as a £70 setup, they certainly produce a decent enough sound - better than I expected at a seventh of the cost of the Altec setup! No setup required, just plug in and away you go. You couldn't want for more at a tenner (or thereabouts)...
