Nice and cool
operating system:LinuxAs remarked above, not a small case. And the LCDs are *bright*. When guests sleep in the same room as this machine I have to cover them up with blu-tac. (It's running MythTV PVR so I leave it running 24/7).
Lots of room for an easy install.
A roomy airy case makes for a quiet one. Space for lots of case fans which you can run nice and slow. With a Seasonic S12 II 500W PSU and 120mm Scythe S-FLEX CPU fan this case stays very cool indeed, almost chilly.
One day I'll figure out how to get the IR receiver, LCD display, and volume now to work with MythTV, but even without this I'm very happy with this case.
Deeper than you might expect,
operating system:Windows 7Bought this case for a HTPC build.
It is excellent build quality, really looks the part under the TV.
The LCD screen is not the easiest to read if you are looking down, and is best nearer eye level / sat on sofa.
Comes with a comprehensive remote enabling easy use of media centre from the sofa! Also fully functioning volume knob
The internals are excellently split into three ensuring effective heat management.
I am running Windows 7 64bit, and the screen and remote drivers come on the supplied CD which set up initially and pointed to an update and works fine.
Overall an excellent case and wont be disappointed, however a few caveats
1) This case is very very deep especially taking into account HDMI leads / USB sticks etc. I have this on a glass TV stand to fit a 42" TV on, and I would say the case needs in excess of 17" depth other wise it looks crammed in.
2) Not a major point but felt it was worth mentioning. The motherboard mounting holes are ever so slightly off so that when the board was mounted, the graphics card HDMI output is slightly obstructed by the case, you can fit one in but you have to jiggle it in, my HDMI lead when in is a bit loose.
Overall though you will not find a better HTPC case with screen and HIFI styling for under £150 and it takes full height Cards, but only mATX boards
Great enclosure but display is of limited use
operating system:Windows VistaI bought this for my new HTPC.
It is very solidly built and plenty of space for standard components, ie. Standard PSU and standard MATX board, standard CPU HSF (not monster collers though!) also takes standard (full height) PCI cards. Assembly is very straight forward.
Included 120mm case fans are quiet but only on low speed setting (3 speeds selected by a micro switch).
The case is quite heavy and is quite deep - do check your clearances if going in a tight space. the front panel is solid aluminium and very good quality.
Only downside is that the VFD is not too great - quite difficult to see (back light is quite bright and cannot turn down) but does display a wide variety of info from PC and displays info from Windows Media Center (but not Windows Media Player).
All in all, am pleased with case.

Backlight and VFD
operating system:Windows VistaThis is a great case, however the backlight is far too bright and it makes it hard to read the display. Unfortunately it can't be changed as another reviewer commented on.
Just in case people get stuck like I did regarding the VFD (LCD display) power and activation... there is a little connector hidden under the DVD tray, it has red, purple and black wires and a white connector on the end. Naturally all PSU's won't have this connector but you also get supplied with what looks like a 24pin ATX power extended but this also has a connector for that VFD wire on it, so make sure you plug that in and then you can power the VFD.
4 stars out of 5. If the backlight could be changed it would have gotten a 5, but it's that annoying it drops it to a 4.
