Fastastiic Printer
operating system:Not ApplicableColour A3 for less than £100. Get in. I use this printer all the time for A4 uni work etc and to make amazing A3 artwork to promote gigs for a friends band. Once you see your work in full A3 against the raft of mono A4 rubbish out there you will be amazed. The ink is a great price too so really cost effective. It is very compact for an A3 printer and with the built in network socket, connects straight to your wireless router and hey presto, Wireless. The in built screen is clear and the controls are easy to use. I havent tried to use the fax yet though. Overall I am extremely happy with this, in fact I love it! Sad
A good cheap printer
operating system:Not ApplicableI am a school teacher who needs to run off lots of prints. My previous Epson 5050 printer was not up to the job (ink smudges and paper jams). A colleauge of mine had one of these and said it was great. I saw it on Ebuyer for just over £80 and took the plunge. Well, it's big as it will be handy to print the odd A3 document for display boards etc. Setup was easy although the USB and network sockets are in an odd place but I can see the logic as to why, it helps keep cable mess down. It works well as a network (cabled not WiFi) printer so that we can all use it. Ink installation was easy and replacements are so very cheap if you look around. I have not tried it as a photo printer or Fax machine but as it stands it does the job well for my needs. Also having a photocopier like paper tray means that it holds loads of paper and it keeps the dust off the top page. Scanning is fine but only A4 max but I did know this before I bought it. Seems fine for scanning documents, quite quick. The supplied software is easy to use and it set up in Windows 7 with no problems. All in all a great printer for people in my job. Being A3 it's a bit bigger than you expect but the A3 facility is great to have. First Brother printer I have owned and it's really good. I have printed loads of pages of text and mixed colour and I am still on the first set of inks so it's economical to run, it has several ink quality and print speed settings to help keep the costs down. A great buy
Brilliant A3 Printer
operating system:Not ApplicableI've got the wireless version of the printer, and you really can't get better for the same price. A3 for under £90 is almost too good to be true.
Ink economy is excellent, I've had mine for 4 months and despite regular weekday use, it's only just warning me that my ink is low on two of the tanks. The Black tank seems to go on and on and on.
CISS System for cheaper printing
Have one of these printers with a continuous ink system from cityinkexpress makes printing very cheap and this printer an awesome buy and brother are solid printers.
I notice after almost 2 years they still haven't amended the spec on this printer with regards to the WEP error... tut! tut!
