Hayes V.92 56k World Approved USB Dongle Mode Product Description
The H08-15360 is a controller-based modem that works with operating systems supporting a USB client, including Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems. The small size (3 inches x 1 inch x 0.8 inches) of the H08-15360 and the integrated USB cable make the modem easy to integrate into a wide range of systems. The USB port of a connected computer provides power to the modem, eliminating the need for a power cube and simplifying the design for exported systems. The Model H08-15360 USB Mini External combines highly efficient design, easy installation and high performance. Configuration is automatic and reliable without the potential conflicts of an internal modem.

This datasheet mentions that this modem has a DSP (digital signal processor), and supports data, fax and voice functions. From the data sheet:
"Advanced Lightning Protection: provides the best protection in the industry against the leading cause of modem failure." - Since this modem is a Zoom product, I interpret this to mean that this Hayes modem has Zoomguard lightning/ surge protection...
"V.80 for support of point-to-point H.324 video over dial-up phone lines" - i.e., video phone ready...
The data-sheet is basically identical to the one for the similar looking and similarly priced Zoom 3095 USB modem. I suspect that internally they're basically the same product, but that one of them (the Hayes one) includes a surcharge to pay for the worldwide "regulatory approval" taxes/ overheads.
