GREAT VALUE
operating system:Windows 7RECENTLY REBUILD A HTPC, THAT REQUIRED TO BE TRANSFORMED TO A WORKSTATION DUE TO NEW REQUIRMENTS FOR THE SYSTEM
WHAT CAN I SAY THIS IS CHEAP, BUT DOES NOT LOOK THAT CHEAP. NICE FINISH, SOMETIMES CASES IN THIS PRICE RANGE AND INDEED UP TO ~£40 TEND TO BE PLASTIC AND NASTY TO LOOK AT. OFTEN BUNDLED WITH LOTS OF NASTY NOISE MAKING FANS AND SEE THROUGH SIDE WINDOWS, MAKING IT NIOSIER STILL. THIS IS UNDER £20, SMALL AND UNDERSTATED WORKS WELL WITH IT. HAS A CLASSY LOOKING BLUE LEDIN LOWER PART OF FRONT CASE
AS OTHER REVIEW STATES 12CM FANS WILL NOT FIT ON THIS CASE. I PUT A FEW SILENT XILENCE FANS ON IT AND ITS REAL QUIET. THE HTPC I BUILT IN THE FIRST PLACE WAS ALMOST SILENT TO BEGIN WITH HOWEVER, SO OTHER CPU FANS MAY CAUSE MORE NOISE.
ITS A LITTLE AWKWARD TO GET PSU IN AND MOBO JUST FITS, LITTLE TIGHT AS HDD IS CLOSE TO RAM, MAY HAVE SOME BOTHER WITH LARGER GFX CARDS.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED
Good competative case
operating system:Windows VistaThis case is actually really good as in it's design and it's use for the money. The case has plenty of air vents, there's even an air vent on the bottom where cool air can get to your graphics card. There is space to fit a mid size cpu cooler. I have ordered a zalman 9500nt cooler. The only problem is the hdd bays. You have to put it at the top bay which is used for floppy disk drives etc. There are lots of spaces for hard drives though if one put's a stock cooler into the case. The only thing i have thought to criticise this case about is it's depth. It could be longer so that the hard drives could fit out of the way of the cpu cooler. For me i have pushed the hdd further into it's bay and screwsd it into place with out any modifications only using 2 screws but it is firmly in place because of 4 latches holding it at the bottom. You can stick a top end full height graphics card in it, i would think that it would just fit in, the pci power cables might have to be folded but i'm sure it will fit since there is 3 cm space inbetween the graphics card and the metaal case layer on the side. This case saves space and does not sacrificse cooling. It has space for a 80mm fan at the back 80/90mm fan at the front and an 80mm fan on the side. The front is very glossy which gives it a nice, possibly cheap looking effect though. But to be honest this case' design looks better than others it's like a full height atx case scaled down but with space to stick in a nice graphics card. You can use this case for gaming, for office use or for internet browsing. I think that you can still have a fairly high end gaming system with this, because of it's length allowing a long graphics card to go in. The only down sides are is that it can't really do SLI/CFX and you can't fit wopping great cpu coolers. For the cpu cooler this case keeps things moderate, not too extreme or not too small. This case actually weighs relatively light. Dispite it being steel. That could also be an advantage meaning that it doesn't bend even though it is less attractive than alluminium. The case does not feel flimsy it has been produced nicely for it's price. The other thing about this case i love is that it takes standard atx power supplies which is great. Means that you can stick 1 individual top graphics card and a reasonably fast processor with some overclocking because of the case's goot cooling design in mind.
Case Review
operating system:Not ApplicableThis case is actually good value for money. The quality seems to be much greater than the price. Buy this product!
First Time Buy
operating system:Windows 7This is one of the first products that i have bought on Ebuyer, as i had some money spear and i needed a new computer so i thought lets put my knowledge to the test and actually build my first low budget computer.
I must say i was very cautious about buying this because i didn't know how strong the case would be or the the space inside, but when it came i was speechless, the case is very strong, spacious and very light, i mean i can hold it up with my little finger, but that wont be the case soon.
I don't think anyone could ask for a better case, especially for a first buy, also it has a built in speaker which is quite good compared to some other that i have seen and it does not vibrate the whole case when the sound is loud.
The case looks great, cool lighting and looks great practically anywhere is my house, but even better on a black glass desk.
I also a bought a Asrock N68C-GS UCC and it has to be the best possible combination with this MATX case, it fits great and all the connection fit well with the motherboard, so you can use all the external connections included on the case, i was surprised that it came with a fan and a lot of screws, which are made very well.
