PS3 Compatile
operating system:Not Applicablejust took delivery of this product. Requested a Friday delivery and was well pleased when it arrived a day sooner.
I have successfully used this drive to upgrade my PS3. PS3 comes with a Seagate Momentus drives, so I was keen to replace like for like.
The drive has been in place for 3 days, and it has had a real workout, gaming, Play TV recording, video usage and more. So far so good, no differance to the original drive other then the extra storage.
For some reason you lose 20GB when upgrading a PS3 so I ended up with 300GB space capacity, which is more then enough.
PS3 upgraders beware
Great little drive,,, Now works a treat in my PS3.Beware though..PS3 didnt recognise the drive initially.I should have known that a FAT32 partician needed to be created 1st.After i did this (same size as old drive ..60Gb) the console sprang into life & formatted the HD to full capacity.
PS3 Change
I had the original 60GB PS3 but when you have all the media attachments its not long before it is all full up, so opted for the 320GB replacement. Used Youtube to see how to do it and it was extremely simple. Didn't even need to partition drive before. Great Buy and now lots of space
