WOW !! SO TINY BUT PACKS A PUNCH!!
operating system:Not Applicablei am simply amazed to see this tiny device, what can you not do with this? It plays movies (divx, mpg, avi, vob,wma), mp3s, ogg and photos in various common formats..
I have hooked it to my samsung 32" hd tv and the movie quality is simply superb, very good quality sound output.. I have not yet tried vob but it doesnot play mk2v file formats. It upscales normal videos to 1080p..
i beleive future firmware updates will add more functionality to it.. It accepts usb, sd,mmc. It gets warm during play but i didnt notice any performace problems during playback of videos...
Apart from hdmi i was surprised it also includes a/v cable incase u donot have hdmi input available.. tobe honest it really feels like it is a usb hub rather than a high definition video player
the tiny remote is also very cute.. and look at the price?? for only 23 quid u gotta be mad to ignore such a beauty

Little wonder
operating system:Not ApplicableBought this a couple of weeks ago and took with me on Holiday. Hooked it up to a small portable hard drive (320gb) and took 100s of video files and 1000s of music files with me. Was able to hook it up to digital TVs in hotel rooms en route to and from destination, and also (using scart adapter - not included) hooked it up to slightly older TV in villa I was staying at. Played absolutely everything (except MKV). Sound excellent and for the price what more could you ask for.
Does get warm (hot) in use but experienced no problems - with kids using it every evening to watch movies etc. and being able to watch videos in your hotel room - an absolutely vital piece of kit for the traveller.

operating system:Not ApplicableI bought this to hook-up to an old 4:3 CRT TV. It supports PAL and NTSC. I have only played Xvid American TV shows with it via the composite out and it is quite impressive. The build quality is good with a metal casing and positive connectors. The remote is feature packed with positive buttons and very good response. I haven't tried the HDMI out but it doesn't support any HD codecs. The firmware and pdf manual show a 2009 revision so it should be up to date with any legacy bugs. All in all quite a bargain for the money!
Final piece of the jigsaw

Previously had all sorts of things hooked up, netbooks through VGA accessing network shares over the wi-fi, power cables all over the show. Not now.
This hooks up through the HDMI, usb portable 250gb self powered through the usb connection, JBL's speaker connected through the AV socket on the cyclone to take care of the audio side of things.
All works a treat, had a few issues with folder structure, sometimes seemed to need them split up into maybe 30gb collections in 1 folder for it to read them. May be unique to the folder structure on the drive and not a real problem though.
Tiny, clever, simple and will tick the multi-media box several times over. No more gadgets for me, all sorted..
