Xenta dvd player
operating system:Not ApplicableI got this Dvd player for the kids, and reading the reviews it said it can be unlocked to region free, But after trying the code many times it didnt work for me, but the player is great value still.
Pls follow operation below to change region code for all MTC DVDs:
1. Under the situation of disc tray opening or stopping disc play
2. For normal DVD,entering 9735X (9735 is pass word, X is region code. for example, your default setting is 2, you want to change it to 1, then pls enter 97351). For blue ray DVD, entering 9735XX (9735 is pass word, 1st X is for DVD region code, 2nd X is for blue ray DVD region code.For example, your default setting now is DVD 2, blue ray DVD B, if you want to change it to DVD region 1, blue ray DVD region B, you should enter 973512 as blue ray DVD region code A=1, B=2)

operating system:Not ApplicableIts so small its untrue. Works a treat adn also the region code Will up loaded works great. I am now playing all my old R1's fine. Great for Kids rooms.
Remote Control
Just to let some people know that I have a Humax hdd recorder and when I press button 1 to change channels it turns on my xenta and since it uses a scart lead it automatically switches over to the xenta. therefore I can't use button 1 on my Humax. Xenta should have looked into this to make sure of the frequences used. Otherwise a super machine, I bought 3 of them.
Great Player
operating system:Not ApplicableBought this player to free up some space on my harddrive by burning films to DVD/CD. Does a great job playing xvid.
The player is small, stylish and runs quietly. Was also pleased to find that it plays subtitle files in srt format.
I did have a few problems to start with, with wrong disc error or missing files but managed to solve this by renaming my files, making sure not to use special characters and keeping them relatively short.
By using the method mentioned above the player plays region 1 DVDs fine.
Overall very pleased with this player I would recommend.
