Cisco Linksys WAG320N Wireless-N300 Dual-band Product Description
The Power of N
Connect everybody in your home at once without wires. Dual Wireless-N radio bands let you choose the one with the least interference in your area. Either one delivers high performance for smooth streaming video, high frame-rate gaming, fast data transfers, and heavy Internet use from multiple users-- all with great range and reduced dead spots. It also connects to your existing Wireless-G, -B, or -A devices.
Reliable Coverage
Experience coverage you can count on, all around your home. Wireless-N’s Multiple in, Multiple Out MIMO technology actually uses the signal reflections that confuse ordinary wireless technologies to boost range and reduce dead spots.
Connect Faster
Access more over your network. Connect Gigabit-enabled networked storage drives, computers, printers, and other devices to the four 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports and break the bottlenecks other routers suffer.
Advanced Security
Advanced wireless security and SPI firewall protection designed to help safeguard your home network and computers from most Internet attacks.
Please note: networking components such as switches, routers and wireless devices require that speeds & standards be consistent throughout the network to gain optimum performance. To avoid compatibility clashes or for advice, please contact us on solutions@ebuyer.com.

Does exactly what it says on the tin
operating system:Windows 7This is one of the first ADSL routers I have seen with 4x Gigabit ports.
So I bought this to speed up copying of files between my various PCs. The ability to connect USB storage is a nice bonus.
ADSL was easily configured. Web interface standard Linksys affair. Synch'ed slightly faster than my old Thomson BeThere router but nothing to get excited about.
One feature not mentioned much is the ability to use port 1 of the Ethernet ports to connect to another Internet source. Useful if later you decide to switch to Virgin Cable as it means you dont have to spend on another device. Downside is ofc you lose a port.
The storage/NAS feature works briliantly. The set up in the web interface takes a little getting used to and not recommended for a beginner but then this is not a router you would get for your granny!
This router is aimed squarely at the prosumer market and from that respect its fabulous. Only thing missing is the ability to hook up a printer via USB too.
Wireless works flawlessly. The dual band is there but its one or the other. You cannot run both simultaneously.
No trouble
operating system:Windows VistaAnother happy customer, been using it for a couple of weeks now & had no trouble, Updated the firmware to the latest from Linksys to allow DHCP reservation. Did the setup without the CD.
All in a good item - seen reviews on other sites from people having trouble, but this router has been fine.
Easy Set-up
operating system:Windows 7This is so easy to set-up I am using this with my sky broadband to replace a broken router as sky wanted to charge me £30 for there slow Wireless-G Router and also ready for when i move as i have the option or using the 1st Ethernet port for an internet connection like virgin
Has 2.4GHz B/G/N Modes and 5GHz A/N Modes These can be mixed or single modes
The Wireless-N can hit up to 300Mbps idles at 150Mbps on the 5GHz frequencies works nice on my laptop just need to update my PC and Other Laptops Wireless-N adapters to Wireless-N Dual-band to hit this speeds and to be-able to use all the 5GHz frequencies.
You can run this mixed A+N or single N mode This 5GHz frequency is good if you have a small home as the 5GHz frequencies has problems penetrating walls and you will not be able to use B+G items as these are 2.4GHz
But the 2.4GHz Frequencies Max at 150Mbps and Idles at 130Mbps and can be used in mixed mode so you can use older WiFi B+G modes as well as N This has a longer range than the 5GHz frequencies and you can also use older devices
I have also tried out the NAS service on the router this is quite easy to use you can use FAT32 or NTFS so you can still hot swap from the router and back to a computer if need be. unlike most NAS that run on XFS that can be hard to recover and very costly to purchase when you can get an plug and play USB drive at a fraction of the cost
I also love the 1000Mbps transfer rate from the Gigabit transfer rate when i plug in to my Lan port when i want to move data from laptop to my computer as this can be a time saver when doing my weekly backup
Hope this would help you to see what you are getting as i think this is the best router i have ever got
Nice and reliable
operating system:Windows 7I'd heard some stories about certain routers not working properly on O2 broadband, but this one seems to work just fine when set up properly.
This connects at the same speed as the O2 Wireless Box III, and seems to be a lot more reliable. I used to experience the occasional wireless disconnect on the O2 box, and had to restore it to factory settings a few times just to regain access to the internet.
Not a lot more I can say, really - it just works without any problems and has all the features I wanted. Signal strength seems fine, even though it doesn't have external aerials.
