Fantastic Camera
operating system:Windows 7Just upgraded from a Logitech Fusion which is a big old thing now, but served me well.
This blows away the picture, I would give the Fusion a 7/10 for picture, and would put this as a 9/10 this is by far the best I have seen yet.
It has had some bad reviews simply due to the autofocus, this is simple turn off in settings and no need at all to have on once manually set.
Its a tiny cam probably half the size of the Fusion, amazing price @ £19.99 and works fantastic on Skype and MSN.

operating system:Windows XPAs others have said, Auto-focus needs to be switched off (you may need to do this everytime you reconnect the cam).
After that, the picture quality is quite good.
However, when capturing video in poorer light, the frame rate drops considerably. In fact, the more the light drops, the lower the frame rate.
I have seen as low as about 7-8 fps in a poorly lit room. Unfortunately, my room is usually poorly lit...
That said, it is bette than the Creative Live! Socalize HD webcam 5.7 which drops the frame rate to about 4-5fps in the same conditions.
Also in the MS HD5000's favour is the higher bitrate is uses for the videos. It is notably superior to the Creative cam.
