Brilliant
operating system:Not ApplicableThis is a brilliant UPS. Works with my Ready Nas Duo perfectly via USB and protects my routers etc.
Well worth the purchace
Fantastic bit of kit
operating system:Windows 7Bought this to protect my home office - gives me approx 15 minutes of battery life running a 27" Monitor, External HDD, Speakers and Dell Optiplex 755 baseunit.
Comes with Power Chute software so I can see the overall health of the UPS, battery status etc. It also shows how many interruptions have occured over the last 4 weeks. Highly recommended to anyone - especially at this price!
Useful 'green feature' power save option
operating system:Windows XPJust got mine and looks well built.... has UPS and surge protection (note that not all ports provide UPS backup) - and has a potentially useful feature that allows a PC for example to switch off and the UPS device detects this as 'off' and then powers off 3 other power sockets (such as printer, scanner, speakers, monitor etc)
One minor niggle for me but I suspect all UPS do this, it'll beep 4 times every 30 seconds when power fails and this device kicks into operation.
So just worth considering if using in a lounge or bedroom.
Works well with Readynas'
operating system:Not ApplicableHas 4 Surge without battery backup and 4 battery backup connections. Its has a special connector on box to USB cable for the monitoring but hook up is easy. Had this up and running with the Readynas NV+ in just a few minutes. All functionality is perfect, about 20 mins backup time with the Readynas, router and gigabit swtch. The battery needs connected when you first get it but this takes seconds.
Excellent piece of kit for the price, £60.20 at Oct 2010
