It's fine!
operating system:Windows 7Hoping to redress the previously one-star review of this item - there is nothing wrong with it at all, it's a perfectly fine, usable, 5.1 surround card with Vista and 7 support.
OEM Card
While it dose not menton it in the description this is an OEM card with no box, drivers or cables. Mine came in an antistatic bag and that was it. I am currently mulling over what to do about it. Great for a system builder/upgrade. less so for a gift!
Drivers
Creative no longer provide Windows Xp drivers for this card. it will only work with windows vista or windows 7
Don't waste your money
Tried it on 2 Windows 7 systems and it just would not work, got the blue screen on both ocassions. It's in the bin.
