Fantastic box for smaller builds
operating system:Windows 7First up, as it may not be too obvious for all; the following components are what you need to add to this barebones system to get it running, plus some optional items.

CPU HSF (Space is very limited, using the stock AMD HSF here)
RAM (Maximum of 2 DIMMs)
HDD/SSD (A single 3.5" bay; definitely best off being SATA)
Optical drive (Optional, single 5.25" bay, SATA or IDE)
GPU (Optional, as mentioned, half height only; no additional power over what PCI-E 16x offers)
Additional PCI-E 1x expansion (Optional, again, half height only)
That's about it for what you can add in, but obviously as this is a fairly compact unit you can't expect too much more anyway. Other information I found fairly non-forthcoming is that the IGP on the northbridge is a Radeon 3000 series. Bear in mind for any builds that the PSU is 200W and without a lot of hacking apart the case is not going to be switchable. Drivers are provided for 7, XP and Linux on disc, although I'm not sure if that goes beyond ATI's binaries as I haven't given it too much of a look for this build.
Building is fairly simple into the case, with a few technicalities. The placement of the DIMM slots mean that inserting RAM may be a little bit of a pain; it's below/under the edge of the 5.25" bay, which does -not- come out easily. I ended up just sucking up and putting the DIMMs in whilst it was in place.
As is usually a good idea anyway, you'll want to hook the HSF power connector in first before actually putting the HSF onto your CPU; the gap between it and the side of the case is absolutely minimal.
SATA ports are also directly below the 3.5" bay. The good thing about that is that the 3.5" bay flips open with a hinge, which means that access to the ports is relatively easy when the bay is flipped up.
There are two half-height blanking panels on the rear of the case, so if you plan on having two PCI-E cards, then you can't use a double length, half height card.
The case itself is very quiet running, to near inaudible levels. The front panel is very stylish (If you like the two-tone look) with front mounted USB, audio, SD card reader and the optical drive all being well hidden behind flaps. The large power button has a very reserved white ring illumination, and for Windows 7 at least, slowly pulses when the system is sleeping. Hopefully it's just a standard ACPI implementation so it'll do that for any OS.
My new media center build is working wonderfully within it; XBMC on Windows 7, and it doesn't skip a beat streaming 1080p video across my gigabit network with an X2 250, 4GB of RAM and a Kingston 16GB SSD, and there's plenty more that can be done with it even then. For £225 overall, excluding the OS, I couldn't ask for more, a great buy.

things to note are:
it needs a low profile pci-e card
no heat pipe, so cpu fan/cooler is needed
Worth the money

It's a dream to set up and looks the part.
But it does not come with S/PDIF out and if you use the standard CPU fan it's noisy when pushed.
