This enclosure is better than advertised
operating system:Windows 7I bought this product so I could use on the original ps3 Toshiba 80gb hdd as I bought 750gb for the ps3. The specs mentioned, doesn't say if it'll work on windows 7 so I took a gamble. The 80gb hdd fits perfectly and after formatting in FAT32/NTFS it works perfectly fine on my ps3/computer.
When connected by USB (provided) a green light comes on to show it's powered/functioning and when it's transferring data it turns to orange. The one bad side I would say is that the part of USB wire that goes in the enclosure doesn't go all the way in so in some cases you may think it isn't in properly and try to push it in more. Otherwise, this is a great enclosure to buy and and once the 80gb hdd is installed looks & feels like an expensive external hdd.
