operating system:Windows 7This case is by far the best value mATX solution available. The exterior finish is fantastic, the side panels are tough and flex less than many others I have come across. The front bezel is made of plastic and has a metal mesh insert where the fan intake is (at the bottom). A 120mm coolermaster fan is included.
The interior is all grey paint coated metal with screwless designed drive bays. The 3.5" interior bays face backwards rather than sideways, but this is to be expected at this price range. There is room for an 80mm fan on both the side panel and rear of the case. The power supply is top mounted.
There is little room for cable management, however cable ties are included with the accesories bag (which also includes brass standoffs and case screws).
As far as dust prevention goes, the front fan intake has a dust filter, however the side intake does not. The case is mounted on 4 plastic feet which raise the case from most surfaces. Thick carpets may defeat them however.
Overall this case is fantastic value for money and is ideal for a low end to mid range microATX form factor PC. 5 stars all the way
Excellent case
I bought this to house my freenas server. I wanted a microcase that would accept 4 3.5" drives plus DVD and a 5-in-1 card reader without creating an eyesore in the hall.
It does all of this and more. It will take 4 drives in a removable lower cage plus 1 more in the upper housing. Includes a drive cooling fan that draws air through the drive cage and exhausts through the front.
I was concerned about heat in a such a small housing but I have found my drives run at under 40deg without the drive fan connected.
My only gripe is that the drive cage doesn't include isolation or screwless mounting but as it turns out everything is easy to fit and runs quiet.
In short if you want a good quality, high capacity, low-profile case I would recommend this one.
