Absalutely Sensational!
operating system:Windows 7the other review is wrong, you CANNOT hear any hissing from these speakers at all, in the slightest!
as of yet, i havent found a fault with these speakers, theyre fantastic! the speakers are clear, crisp and offer sound quality like no other! the bass can be adjusted via the Right channel speaker and can even be turned off through the adjuster.
the amount of bass the sub can give out is insane! youve never felt bass kick so hard in your life! these speakers will bring even the dullest music, film or game to life with crystal clear sound and punching bass
5 stars from me, best speaker system i have EVER owed (ive owned a fair few!) and would not trade these for any others apart from the Z5500.
you WILL NOT be disappointed if you buy these speakers, for the sound, build and aesthetic quality, i would happily pay upto £180 for something of this calibur!

The crunch
operating system:Not ApplicableRight I'm gonna come straight in with the bad..
I think it's down the the amplifier in the Z623 but as soon as you turn this unit on you can hear hiss of the 'floor' being over amplified. I have these set up close range on my desk at home so it is apparent. When you get blasting some music though you will not hear it.
I expected for the price of these they wouldn't do that. I have some Z2300 at work and you have to put your ear right next to them to hear it. I researched online and it seams that Logitech have changed the components since the Z2300 to cut the cost of manufacturing.
THE GOOD!
These speakers sound awesome. From Drum n Bass, Dance, Rock, Metal & Acoustic the clarity is great and the bass pounding. Also blasting the star wars sound track has to be done! (Available on Spotify!) They are THX certified after all..
The sub is smaller than the Z2300 so is more friendly for leg space under the desk. I also prefer having the volume controls on the right satellite opposed to being on a separate control. Keeps desk clutter minimal!
Conclusion. I shall be keeping these speakers but am still a bit annoyed by the hiss. The overall sound of these make up for it.. hey maybe it acts as a dither and adds more clarity... oh well I will leave it up to you to decide.
Wouldn't waste my money on these speakers
operating system:Windows VistaNot happy with my purchase at all. After opting for free delivery and 10 days later The first speaker set was sent to me, didn't work at all so i returned them, one week later after they were sent back i got the second set which surprize surprize the sub unit didn't work. so now after three weeks i'm going for the refund and reccomend that the only suitable place for this speaker set would be in a rubbish tip. I would reccomend however there £30 range of speakers because i have never had a problem with them. Thought i was purchasing something better, but its been an hassle and wont be re-purchasing or having a third set, sent out to me.
