Seems to all be in order.
operating system:Windows 7This being the first Capture card/stick I've bought I don't know anything about any other models other than the HD PVR is "amazing" and what not.
But I got this because I cant afford $200. Took a few hours of youtube videos and general faffing about to get the software to work but after I got it working everything seemed fine. Was a bit alarmed at first because the VHS to DVD software kept asking for a DVD but after a few trys it randomly stopped that and saved as MPG file.
Anyway this was what I managed to get out ofit after a few hours faffing with settings.

Poor quality results
operating system:Windows XPI have used a range of video capture devices over the years. I bought this because I thought it would capture straight to Mp4 (it doesn't - you have to render.) The build quality is poor and the picture quality is also poor compared to my Pinnacle capture card (to which I have returned.) Since you will be investing quite a bit of time in the process I would recommend spending a little more and getting something of better quality.
Lack of cables??!
operating system:Windows 7Haven't been able to try the item yet as it didn't come with all of the necessary connecting cables? Having read the previous reviews I'm beginning think I've wasted my money. Not looking forward to having to mess around looking on YouTube for instructions to make this product work. Wish I'd bought a better and more complete product
I've put one star because I have to buy more cables. If it doesn't work I'd give it none!!
No drivers/software
Just recieved the item. Instead of drivers/software I got a blank cd. No problem I thought, they'll be on the web somewhere.
Wrong. Impossible to find.
