The best processor in the market
operating system:Windows 7As the title implies, this is a superb CPU.
It has 4 cores and 8 threads which is ample. I upgraded this from a Q9650 and so the performance increase equates to about 50-60% faster.

and some dominator RAM. If you're going to buy this CPU don't buy a cheap motherboard and RAM.

operating system:Windows 7i purchased had this chip from ebuyer the week they first started selling it and Ive found no problem with it its super fast and runs everything so smooth i owned a Q6600 before but this chip seems so much faster like 3x or even more i was thinking of overclocking before i purchased but i dont really need to 20 stars i would give this chip
Cracking processor
operating system:Windows 7This processor is an extremely good product. Came nicely boxed and was a doddle to install, as all Intel processors are. The performance difference coming from a Q6600 was unbelievable, and I'm yet to find a task that pushes it too far. I'd highly recommend this processor.
Very Good Processor
operating system:Windows 7I bought this processor for my first build, and along with only 4GB ram and an Asus Motherboard, it runs perfectly fine. I have the stock Intel fan, and on idle I manage to get 18 degrees, playing games pushes this up to 33degress. This maybe partly due to the computer being placed close to the window. I have used Asus's Turbo feature to overclock this to 4.5GHz on the stock fan, I have read about these being overclocked to 5.5GHz. Very good and fast. Installs application in no time at all.
