Pretty decent, worth the price
operating system:Windows 7Decide to upgrade my Compro VideoMate after BBC decided to scrap their mpeg2 HD Streams.
Looked around for ages, and finally decided to give this a shot (was so close to getting a BlackGold).
There is a big user community so that helps if you have issues, as no doubt someone else has had similar problems and you can get more info.
My postcode was about to get freeview so I was keep to have two separate sources for recording TV. Freesat just has more channels than freeview and not everyone can get all channels on freeview (like me with only three multiplexes available from our transmitter).
I use 7MC (Windows 7 Media Centre) and I have set this up so I can have multiple sources where possible.
After the driver upgrade (in order to get the HD channels working, note: you need to scan the specific transponders do not rely on the "known transponders") it works without a hitch.
Remote is IR6 compatible so I swapped it out for the old one and it works nicely.
Just a pain in the ass to get it all set-up in Media Centre, but the card works without problems. Nice and stable and records from both sources excellently.
Glad I bought it!
