Robust Wireless LAN Security (WPA, WPA2 support)

Multi-languages Setup Wizard

The EZmax Wizard will detect your Range Extender/Access Point automatically and guide you to follow a few simple steps to complete the settings within minutes.
Web Configuration
The EW-7228APn allows you to configure this Range Extender/Access Point through the friendly Web user interface with a browser.

The EW‐7228APn has adapted a clever protocol in smart transmission power control. When the wireless is idle, the Range Extender/Access Point smartly adjusts transmission output by distance and CPU offload to reduce power consumption 26%~39% comparing the power consumption under data is transmitted.

Great Wireless cover and Great Value
operating system:Not ApplicableBought one of these to extend signal in old victorian house to basement.
Already tried a couple of other makes, this is my third attempt and I am impressed with the wireless range this now gives me
Please Note - I cabled from main router to this extender so cannot comment on wireless to wireless extending
Good Wireless Bridge
operating system:Not ApplicableI got this as an alternative to the Edimax 7416 (quick code 168753).
That device was more expensive and didn't have a 5 port switch on the back like this one does. Also, the speed is fine at 150Mbps (300 on the 7416 is probably overkill for the average home use).
I wanted this simply to bridge to my wirless network. Got it setup in a few minutes, and now my TV, ps3, bluray and media streamer are just ethernet wired to the back of this device and straight onto my wifi network (the router is upstairs in a back room)
Brilliant for £25 - saves buying a wirless dongle for each device!
Wireless Repeater
operating system:Windows XPI bought this the other day to use as a wirless repeater and extend the signal throughout my house.
Instruction manual was very clear and easy to undestand, the router looks very asthetically pleasing and produces a strong signal, the 5 port switch on the back is a bonus, might just save me buying a wifi adapter for my xbox 360 if i move it to another room.
Would definately recommend this to other people and i'm going to buy another few for the family!
What a great little unit
operating system:Windows XPAs with previous comments, (reason for my purchase in the first place), works great and looks good too! Added to which you get extra wired ports. Just installed one with basic settings and worked first time, (connected to a BT router). From what I've briefly read in the manual it appears to be able to do a great deal more. Once read and tested I'll comment more.
