This is a wireless HDMI HD Sender transmitter/receiver kit to allow you to send HD video and audio wirelessly between 2 devices with no loss of quality. It can trasmit up to 720p and 1080p without interference over distances of up to 20 Metres (depends on line of sight and wall thickness) using the brand new WHDI wireless HDMI technology.
The HD sender and receiver will pair with each other automatically, no setup required. Simply plug the transmitter box into the HDMI source, e.g DVD player or SKY box, and the receiver box into the TV.
Customer note: due to the way HDMI works, if you want to use this to send your existing TV signal, e.g SKY HD to a secondary TV while still using it with your main TV, you will need to use this with an active HDMI splitter such as ebuyer QF 230507. This will actively split the HDMI signal to allow it to be displayed both on main TV (wired HDMI) and secondary TV (wireless HDMI) at the same time.

Troubleshooting Tips:
- Please ensure you have the IR remote control sensor positioned correctly near the device you are trying to control. please ensure you know where the sensor is on the source device and have the sensor positioned directly in front of it, otherwise it may not work correctly.
- If the picture and sound doesnt come through correctly to the receiver unit/TV, please switch off both sender and receiver, then switch sender on first, wait until 2 blue lights show, then turn the receiver back on.
- Please ensure the source device is switched on and transmitting a signal before you turn on these devices.
- If you are using an HDMI splitter (I.E to split a sky box signal), transmission problems can be fixed by resetting the HDMI splitter.
- Depending on the construction of your house there can be range issues. It is mainly a problem for new build houses where foil insulation is used between internal walls, and also an issue for very thick walls. If you are able to use a wireless internet network in your house then you should generally be able to get a good signal from this device.
- Most video/sound transmission problems can be fixed by resetting the sender and receiver boxes as described above and turning them on in the correct order (sender first, then receiver).

works well
operating system:Not Applicablebought this wondering how good it would actually be and how it would get round the interference problems usually seen with wireless video senders.
plugged it into the back of my downstairs xbox 360 hdmi output, and plugged the receiver into my bedroom TV upstairs. when you turn it on it takes 3 or 4 seconds to establish the wireless link between the 2 devices, but once it is up it displays an almost perfect picture, you would still think it is connected via a wired hdmi cable. it automatically scales the resolution on the TV but you can still change it on the xbox so the tv displays the maximum resolution.
as it says in the product description you cant use this alone to stream to 2 separate places (one wired, one wireless) from one source e.g sky hd. to do that you need to fully split the hdmi signal coming out of the sky box using an hdmi splitter (ebuyer sell them)
i need to test the range on this as i'd imagine over longer distances it might struggle to maintain a 1080p signal, but it says in the manual that it goes in stages, so for example 1080p up to 25 metres, then 720p up to 30 metres etc, depending on if its a clear run or through walls etc.
overall this is a great product, minor points off due to it not including the required hdmi cables in the box but ebuyer sell those as well.
The first time I've used a wireless video sender that works
operating system:Not ApplicableI've tried a lot of video streaming products over the years, and nearly always had to return them due to disappointing results. This is the first time I've found something that does the job perfectly - it sends 1080p video with no discernible latency.
Superb product - does what it says on the tin
operating system:OtherI purchased this to transmit HDMI output from a Playstation PS3 to an overhead projector.
Initially could not get it to work from the PS3 swo tried HDMI output from my laptop. This worked perfectly streaming hi definition video beautifully.
PS3 issue appeared to be two-fold, a cable issue and that to switch to HDMI output it helps to have the original composite video device connected at the same time so as to smoothly handle the transition answering on screen prompts.
Now works brilliantly, it helps to start everything in the right order to ensure connection works straight away - first turn on the Xenta receiver, then the transmitter then the HDMI display device. Once the blue lights are illumninated on the transmitter and receiver, and the display is on, finally turn on the PS3.
Result - fabulous 1080p display on a 90" screen! The system handles game display, video streaming and bluray disc output beautifully. The transmitter and receiver get quite hot but are noiseless.
Highly recommended.
Works a treat
operating system:Not ApplicableI have used this, like others, to connect a PS3 to a remote TV. My PS3 is in the living room and the remote TV is in the kitchen, a distance of roughly 12m point to point.
The line of sight take it through 1 set of glass doors and 1 cavity wall, both sides of the cavity wall have tiles on them, 1 side stone tiles and the other mosaic. This gave me connection issues and eventually some digital interference but once I got the reciever about the hight of the tiles it worked perfectly. The TV I have connect it to is wall mounted so I have the reciver in the wall cavity. Both units get quite warm so I have used a remote control mains socket on the reciever in the cavity wall to turn the unit off when I am not using it, to stop it from over heating and hopefully prolong the life span of the it.
I also tested it on a TV upstairs - not problems what so ever. So I would think about where your units will be positioned before you go for it, but if you have caivty walls and no tiles ! then you should be ok.
I should also add there is no latency. I played BF3 on-line with no problems.
