Works a charm

Very cheap, but you get what you pay for
operating system:Windows 7First one arrived with 4 faulty ports. Replacement has worked perfectly and I have since bought another. Usually have 4 or 5 devices plugged in and all work fine (HD webcam, memory sticks, phone cable, wireless dongles etc.), really convenient that I don't have to go around the back of the desktop now.
4 stars only because the build quality is pretty poor even at this price and the first one I bought was faulty.
Currently been using now for about 6-8 months without a hitch, plays nice with sleep/hibernate too if you're concerned about that.
With regards to the other review about it blowing the power supply, not sure how it would do that since it's totally self-powered, but I guess because it's such a cheaply built thing you shouldn't be too shocked if yours comes with problems.
AVOID
operating system:Windows 7I bought this because it was cheap, that was a mistake. This is not a good product. The ports are intermittent, the lead that connects the hub to the USB port on your PC is rubbish, the slightest touch to it and all of your peripherals disconnect. On top of that none of the ports are recognized as USB 2.0 as advertised, all show as USB 1.1 (when they work). I implore you not to buy this.
RUBBISH
operating system:Mac OSXI agree with MtG01's review, I bought one and the power supply blew up and caused damage to my computer....
