Fantastic Router
operating system:Not ApplicableI'm writing this review after having a couple of these routers on various sites for a couple of months. I've got a few of these routers connected to some high end corporate VPN routers.
For the low price of this router (and all the TP-Link equipment for that matter) I wasn't convinced that it would deliver everything it claimed to deliver on the tp-link.com website. However it does and does it better than a lot of kit I've used in the past.
For quick and easy site to site VPN connections I tended to use the venerable Netgear DG834G, but the Netgear box is now showing it's age so I had to find a alternative with the same value.
The TD-W8960N is a fantastic piece of kit with a lot of great features, including QoS, Traffic Control, IPSec (DES, 3DES, AES-128, AES-192, AES-256), UPnP, DynDNS and a fairly granular firewall interface. It's got a web front end, as well as telnet and SSH complete with granular administrative accounts. Plus the low price makes it pretty much a disposable purchase for most businesses.
So far I have not had any problems with any of these routers in 'the wild'. I've now got one of these plugged in at home too and it's great. Buy one, you won't be disappointed!

operating system:Not ApplicableThis router has incredible range and lightning fast transfer speed between Wireless N enabled devices (circa 230+ Mbps). For £35 as well, it has a host of features that you would expect only the top of the ranger wireless modem routers to include. It also has WPS so you can automatically configure your wireless devices. Setup time was less than 10 minutes and I'm getting the best outta my broadband for once! Also, I have a PS3 and I don't get any PSN/Wireless disconnections any more. All in all, this router gets a solid 4out of 5. The lack of Gigabit ethernet is the only thing that lets this lil' "bit-o'-genius" kit down.
