Top performance
operating system:Not ApplicablePros:
Connects 600Kb faster than my previous router(sky sagem) 18.5Mb as opposed to 17.9Mb, and works with sky with no issues
seems to have increased my ping to 38ms from 60ms
Works great with my imac running osx 10.6.7 showing 300Mb at 5Ghz
Every other device, PS3, Wii, PC's etc connecting fine at 2.4Ghz
Gigabit switch as expected , extremely rapid
For me streams 1080p flawlessly from attached hard drive (seagate 1TB)
Never dropped connection once (been up for 5 days so far)
Ability to set up guest access with wireless isolation
VPN works a treat
Cons:
Range at 2.4Ghz not as good as i thought it would be(same as my old sagem), range at 5Ghz as expected i.e. not as far as 2.4GHz
Some people, (not me thankfully) are having issues with the hard disk sharing and streaming, hopefully a firmware update will address this
Overall top performance, very happy, knock of 1/2 a star for 2.4Ghz range

operating system:Not ApplicableAfter 6 months of dropouts and flakiness from my existing router I was really keen to research and buy the right product this time.
Although this one looked excellent on paper and in professional reviews, some alarmist 1-star reviews on websites made me think twice.
I went ahead anyway, and I'm really glad I did. I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever, no dropouts, and excellent performance across 2.4 and 5GHz.
Great Modem Router!
operating system:Windows XPBought this product after experiencing terrible speed performance with the standard D-Link router provided by Virgin Media. I realised it must be the router as my internet experience was completely different once a connected my laptop directly to the modem via an ethernet LAN cable.
What a huge difference this new router has made! Very happy with this product!
Netgear DGND3700
operating system:Windows 7I have tested this so far for over 8 hours and with all features enabled , i can so far say everything is stable and im particulalry happy about achieving 500kbs etc on my 18meg adsl.
No issues with the wifi , I have both frequency running simoutanesouly and can say the N is prefroming well.
also impressed is the new online web content filter by netgear.
No disconnects so far and also video streaming has been pretty impressive , i would highly recommend this to anyone.
Have used several netgear, draytok, linksys and dlink products so the info above has been carefully typed.
