So Easy to Set Up
operating system:Windows 7Had this board a couple of weeks now and it is great. It was so easy to set up once installed in the case and has been ever so stable in operation.
It is running with 4Gb RAM and an Athlonll X3455 which unlocked in seconds using the F4 key during start up to become a Phenom B55. Coupled to an SSD main drive the system has collected emails and is ready to use in under 20 seconds from pressing the start button.
If you can remember to create a small partition on your HDD then you can create a full back up of your OS and drivers and if you ever have to go back to day one then you don't have to re-activate Windows.
Great board
operating system:Windows 7Installed this with an athlon II X4 640 and 8gb of corsair ram (qf:247674). Quite an upgrade from the previous core 2 duo 1.8ghz. Board works a treat, onboard graphics are fine for internet / word processing etc. and maybe some light gaming. Onboard sound is good, although I can't get jack sensing to work for the front audio. One thing to note is that my board came with the oldest 0211 BIOS version, which means it won't support the FX chips without an update.
Asus after sales service
operating system:Windows 7Great product used Asus for years but after the help, well (NO HELP) from Asus UK over the phone I don't think I'll be using Asus products again.
After filling in the product registration and SN number, the Asus website comes back with the wrong information of model, so I phoned Asus UK for help and information, just to be told we don't deal with motherboards support over the phone, you'll have to use the website.
Told the Asus UK support member the info on website is incorrect, and he didn't offer any help at all.
Nice waste of 2 hours of my time this Friday morning.
Safe to say the Asus EAH6750 FML/D1/1GD5 graphics card is out the window now.
Star rating 5 for product but a big 0 for service.
