Great little camera .. (mostly)
operating system:Windows 7I've had mine now for about 2 months, overall I'm pretty happy with this little camera. It started out being mounted in the kids Hamster cage and was known in the house as the "HamsterCam" :) Worked a treat, but we got bored with it.
Pros:
- Size and portability
- Ease of use
- Features are pretty good
- Battery operated
- works well with mobile devices
Cons:
- Very very poor in low light
- Poor security controls, it's an all or nothing for passworded access to the camera
- No way at all to disable the built in mic except by setting an access password, this means no public availability of the camera
- Very bad coding of html on the internal server, so reverse proxy or other ways of trying to display the images on a website without direct access is nearly useless
All in all though I'm quite happy with the camera. Buy the accessory pack and you'll be even happier. Runs off any standard USB charging plug (but does not use USB data, power only).
