Good for the price
operating system:Not ApplicableWhilst not the greatest router out there, this does work OK & is cheap. I can't complain as I didn't want to spend more than £30!
Works fine... mostly
operating system:Not ApplicableI bought this when it was on sale for less than £30 to replace a 4 year old router.
The router itself is fine, with a good build quality and manual however the software on the router is a little cumbersome with items in illogical places and some steps far too verbose.
The only issue so far has been that it went through a couple of days of dropping the internet connection and not reconnecting which was solved by power cycling the unit and hasn't happened since.
Wifi coverage is better than expected (goes through 2 solid walls) and the speed seems decent.
Router
operating system:Not ApplicableWon't connect at N speeds to your N wireless devices. Only manages 54Mbps, even though all the settings are for full speed N settings.
Drops the broadband connection about three times per day and won't automatically reconnect - even though all the settings are set to do so.
EBuyer won't acknowledge it as a fault so if you buy it you're stuck with it even though it fails to live up to its advertised capabilities. It is unfit for use and unfit for sale.

Faulty.. what to do?
I bought one of these too (Order No: 17158321) and have to say.. I'm extremely dissatisfied. I used to trust Buffalo.
Now I'm stuck with a router that, when it won't refuse to connect at all, disconnects an average of 10 times a day. Either throws my wireless client out, or disconnects internet/DSL (only fixable with a reboot - which needs to be done 2/3 times for it to connect back to the internet).
Please, eBuyer, do you have suggestions on any firmware updates for this... or anything at all I can do.
