Fractal Design Arc Mini Case Product Description
This new Arc Mini case in micro ATX format offers plenty of cooling options, up to 7 fans of various sizes can be installed. Unique for its small size, it also offers room to mount a thick, dual 120mm radiator in the top panel.
Elegant top and front panels are both easily removable and pre-fitted with fan filters to ensure a dust free interior. The sleek black interior is matched and contrasted with white expansion slots and HDD trays. Similar to the Define Series, all the HDD trays are fitted with anti-vibration silicon grommets. The upper HDD cage is removable and rotatable, which enables support for even the longest graphic cards.

The motherboard mounting plate has rubber covered holes in which you can easily route the cables to a compartment behind the motherboard, which has more than ample storage space.

Great Product
First of all I just wanted to say how easy it was to order this (and other parts) from Ebuyer, very good.
The case is exactly as described. Very fuctional and well designed. Finding space for for the cables is really easy as the cable management system is excellent and provides good air flow throughout the case.
The case is very sturdy and solid with no flimsy feel to it. I did have a little problem opening one side of the case, (was a little stiff) but quality all the same.
All in all I'm very pleased with this product.
Quality Case
operating system:Windows 7If you are looking to upgrade your case from a lower end one like I have then look no further. This case really is quality. You can see in the pictures that it's quality but it's even better in real life.
The fan controller has a really big, sturdy knob and looks awesome at the back of the case.
Inside the quality is excellent, everything is well made and robust without any dangerous edges like in cheaper cases.
The case fans are quiet if you don't have them on full and it immediately knocked a few degrees off my system's idle temperature
The only thing bad I could say is that the reset switch is kind of recessed, so you need to use something small to poke it with, but I've honestly never used a reset switch anyway; so five stars. Really worth just that 20 quid more.
Brilliant Case
operating system:Windows 7This Is My First Review.
This case is a brilliant case. This case has plenty of space for anything. This case is big enough to fit the large 3rd party CPU Coolers.
A word of warning though is that the case is larger than a standard mATX case so if you are looking for something compact this case isn't for you, but if you are looking for something small and powerful then this is perfect. The case can also accommodate water cooling radiators placed at the top of the case, just above the motherboard
The case comes with 6 HDD bays which support both 3.5" and 2.5" drives straight from the box (no adapters needed!). This case also comes with a 5.25" to 3.5" adapter and face plate so you can install 3.5" devices into the Optical Drive slots (for example a memory card unit).
This case comes a fan speed controller with can control the speed of 3 fans with a variable resistor. .
The case has a quality, sturdy build feeling professional and long lasting. The mesh on the case makes the case look stylish but also helps with air flow.
I was surprised by the quality of the front power button, reset button, audio ports and USB ports. Normally on cases these items seem like an after thought and feel loose and low quality. On this case it feels like the case has been designed around the the front ports.
I'm running a 2600k on a mini ITX board with the stock cooler. I'm am currently upgrading my system (thus the new case), before you think I'm nuts. In terms of temperatures it will run quite happily between 35-40 doing standard tasks like browsing the web and reading emails in a standard temperature room. I think these temperatures are high for a case like this and i think the reason for this is because the RAM modules are right next to the CPU generating a lot of heat as well.
Hopefully with my new, upgraded mATX system the temps will fall.
Conclusion: This is a brilliant case and at a low price. This is defiantly the best case I've ever had. It also looks better in you house compared to some of the high priced cases with ugly looks and huge amount of lights lighting up the room.
Lots of hype but not that impressed by quality
operating system:Windows 7Fractal Design cases seem to be quite popular at the moment. The fact it looked great for cable management and was smaller than the P182 case I have persuaded me to purchase this instead of re-using the aforementioned case.
Cable management wise, it's great. You will need a bit of time to route things but it can be done and when done right it leaves the main part of the case almost free of visible cables.
Another nice feature is the top set of 3.5" trays can be completely removed allowing for better airflow.
The fans are okay. With everything together, they are quiet assuming you can run them slowly (I used the supplied fan speed controller). However, if you listen to them closely they do seem to sound unbalanced at slow speeds.
Now, the issues. Inside the case, there were a couple of thumbscrews which had gnarled tops. Probably at the factory the powered driver being left on to long. One was a bit of a pig to get out, but eventually it did. A little more QA at the factory wouldn't have gone amiss
The sides are REALLY hard to remove. I really had to give it some force to get both sides off! I know they need to be a tight fit, but wow, not that tight!
Also, one of the screw holes for one the side panel no longer grips the screw. With it being a new build, the screw had been removed. I've learnt from past experience to leave these out for a couple of weeks because there's always a need to change something. Finally got around to putting the same screw back in the same hole and it turns...and turns...and turns...and turns.
Would I buy another Fractal Design case? Not sure. I certainly wouldn't rush out to buy another before having had a good look around first!
