BOUGHT ONE
GOT IT TODAY FOR THE 3D WHICH I FOUND A BIT, WELL, NOT UP TO WHAT I HAD HOPED.YOU HAVE TO MOVE IT ABOUT TO GET IT RIGHT, IN THE END I PUT ON A PAIR OF LG 3D GLASSES ON WHICH MADE IT BETTER,THAN THERES, HOW TO GET YOUR 3D VIDEO PHOTOS ETC ON TO THE MONITOR COULD DO WITH AN HDMI SLOT ,ITS OK FOR STRAIGHT VIDEO PHOTOS MUSIC, THE MONITOR IS SHARP AND THE SOUND IS OK, EAR PHONES ALWAY MAKE THINGS BETTER.ITS ALSO GONE DOWN £10 IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, ITS NEAT AND ALSO HAS A REMOTE.THE 3D SOME THINGS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS, ITS THE OLD STORY, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
3D? Hmmm...
operating system:Windows 7OK, looked every where for some reviews on this product but couldn't find and so decided to take the plunge and bought one.
1. Build quality: Brilliant, very sturdy and well put together.
2. Easy of operation: If you can use a tablet then you'll have no problems navigating the product.
3. How do 3D photo's look? Terrible. The product comes loaded with 8 or 9 3D photos I guess to show case the product. I knew I'd made a bad decision as soon as I looked at the photos - to be honest I couldn't even tell whether they were 3D or not. The whole screen is covered in red and blue waves of colour. I suspect that the sweet spot for 3D viewing (what there was of it) was about 10%, any slight movement and you lost the effect.
4. 3D photos from my 3D Fujifilm camera? Laughable. Seriously, if you adjust the 3D depth you can get the person in the foreground to look a bit 3D but everything else behind the person gets a shadow. Do I mean ghosting? No, you literally see everything twice.
5. 3D movies created on my 3D camera? Don't even go there! It does play them but you're looking at the screen in total diss-belief. The quality from a resolution perspective is terrible and as for the 3D effect, what 3D effect.
Summary: Believe the company put this out to beat everybody else but has produced a product that does not do what it was built for. I should add that it does play non-3d movies, and display non-3d pictures very well and so If you're looking for a player that does not do 3D then this may be the one for you.
I sent mine back and got a refund, thank you eBuyer for that.
