The re-chargeable nature of the keyboard means that when you aren't using the keyboard, just connect it to the computer via USB and it will have plenty of battery for when you need to next use it. There is also an On/Off switch which can save power when you don't need to use it.
The keyboard is plug n play enabled therefore there are no drivers which need to be installed.

Keyboard
great keyboard great finish great wireless range and its rechargeable what more can you ask, i only came across this keyboard from a review in VR-Zone and im so glad i did, from what i can make out Xebec-Tech are a fairly new brand but i have 100% confidents that they will be one of the big contenders in 2012 for the HTPC market

p.s I love the look of the new handheld HTPC keyboard if my young lad behaves himself i may buy him one for the Xmas
HTPC Keyboard
Ive just received the Xebec keyboard and im really happy with it looks very stylish and the white is so glossy, only down side is the delete key is on the small side but i found after a couple of hours it soon becomes second nature, im going to buy the black one for my brother perfect xmas present

Hi Dick i had to add my 2pence worth on your comment as it does sound rather biased,
Speaking from personal experience here, ive had my Xebec Keyboard now for just over two months and i can honestly say im 100% happy, I dont understand why you would comment on the Keyboards Re-Charging feature being pointless, While i was researching which keyboard to buy i did come across the Keysonic model quite frequently across the forums and the overall feedback was not that great if im honest there were quite a lot of comments on the signal dropping out and also the batteries not lasting long at all! So with this in mind "Why not have a Re-Charge Feature" Im sure everyone is in the same boat as me when i say "theres nothing more useless then a keyboard that doesnt work" and im pretty confident that in saying "not everyone has spare batteries hanging about to put in a keyboard" personally i struggle to find batteries to put in my tv remote haha!! Yes i agree a wireless keyboard is meant to be wireless and not have wires hanging out! Which is exactly what the Xebec keyboard is! My Xebec Keyboard has no wires hanging out of it. Ive charged my Keyboard twice in the length of time ive owned it.. Once when i first purchased it and once more which was a few days ago! which to be honest isnt really a chore, i simply plugged in the USB Cable while i wasnt using it
Also Dick are you sure theres no reviews on the Xebec keyboard?? The main reason i purchased this keyboard was 90% based on reviews, why not google "Xebec HTPC Keyboard Review" im sure you can find plenty, ive just done it and theres lots :- Eteknix, KitGuru, Vr-Zone to mention a few
I trust your comments were authentic and not an attempt to detour customers away from Xebec and more onto Keysonic as that would set a bad view on Key Sonic, maybe they feel threatened with a new contendor on the market haha obviously this is in my own opinion, i wish you all the best
A very handy piece of kit
operating system:Mac OSXI bought one of these silver keyboards for Christmas. It worked fine on my windows laptop and on my PS3. Really well infact, great for home theatre and for presentations (if you ever need to carry it around).
I then tried it on my iMac, althought it doesn't say that it is compatible. I have found no issues! Just use the windows key instead of the traditional apple command key... and all of the shortcuts work!
Seriously good job here Xebec Tech.
