It's a Realtek 8139(?) under the hood
operating system:OtherNo problems installing, using, no crashes, rock solid.
May not be the most efficient card under the sun due to its innards, but stability is my watchword.
Cheap, easy, works. Install and forget.
Perfect!!
operating system:Windows XPBought 3 of these to upgrade old lyksis cards. Boy had i been missing out, I thought the lynksys stuff was fast this makes it look like a turtle on land! Very easy to install in any OS (however im puzzled why xp finds and installs it as a realtec card?!!), works perfectly and have no problems. If you want a network card, spend no more than this.
Fast
operating system:Not ApplicableIt's data transfer is extremely fast and stable. It also can preform Wake-on-Lan without being connected to a W.O.L. slot on the mainboard. Still connects to the network even when the computer is off. Great card for your money. Also, it DOES hold the cable in properly ha ha.
Installation
operating system:Windows MEInstalled very easily. Instructions recommend installing drivers before installing card if using Windows ME. Followed instructions and works fine.
