Peace of mind.
operating system:Not ApplicableThis peice of equipment is very inexpensive compared to the peace of mind it provides.
If you have hundreds or thousands of pounds worth of electronic equipment such as a PC, TV, game console etc you need surge protection. Surges can be caused by anything from lightning strikes to a power surge that the house fuse may not stop so it's worth getting this to protect your stuff.
As usual with Belkin it comes with a warranty so if it fails to protect your goods they're also protected on that. I have two of these for my gaming PC set up and my HD TV and console set up and would recomend everyone get one.
Better to be safe than sorry
operating system:Windows XPI now have 3 of these around the house protecting 2 computers and my sky box/dvd recorder etc..
For a small price you know that your expensive electrical bits are protected and at the same time you have 3 extra sockets to plug them into.
The cable tidy is useful and the Surgemaster series look quite good as well!
Good product
operating system:Otherbought a new PC and realised the subwoofer that came with it did not actually have a proper on/off switch. Also modern PCs still draw a residual amount of power when they are supposedly turned off.
Reaching behind the desk to get at the wall switch was too difficult, so bought one of these surgemasters. There is a single on/off switch that turns the entire strip on or off.
Reasonably well made and the on/off switch is easy to operate.
Another Winner
operating system:Not ApplicableGot a bunch of these for my parents as their house was a death trap. You know the usual - extensions plugged into extensions plugged into adaptors. Quality stuff, wall mountable and warranted for piece of mind. Good Stuff
