Best ram for the price
operating system:Windows XPTry and ignore all the negative comments on this ram. If you find it confusing about RAM specs then all you have to do is remember this. By far the MOST important thing about memory is the CL or CAS Latency this is the main factor in how fast the ram actually works. Because this RAM has A CL of 2.5 it is pretty quick (a CL of 2 is the fastest normally, and most other memory has a CL of 3) In the real world a DDR 3200 with a CL of 2.5 WILL run faster than a DDR 4000 with a CL of 3, yes you can fiddle around with the CMOS but if you want it stright out of the box and running, this memory is the best value on the market. IGNORE all the magazines and people saying "oh my memory has aggressive timings" - but it only has a CL of 3.5! that is what you need to look at. REMEMBER CAS LATENCY CL anything below 3 is fast above 3 , forget it!

operating system:Windows XPThats the whole point of the value select range though... its cheap and runs perfectly, if you want overclocking ram then spend extra on corsair XMS or the like. Its budget ram and should be rated accordingly and you should know this when you buy it.

Good memory IMO
operating system:Not ApplicableGot this memory to work with PcChips M848ALU. This board is picky apparently with ddr400 memory. It works great! Glad i paid that bit extra over the ebuyer stuff.
