Excellent
operating system:Windows XPI bought this to get over my problem of using more than 1 pc at a time on the same monitor.
I use my xp machine at a resolution of 1280x1024 and my linux machine also,this switch makes no difference to the res at all.
An excellent product and very easy to use.
Only 2 sets of cables..
Connection to PC1 & 2 on front of unit (with selected status lights), PC3 & 4 on rear. Connections to montor, keyboard and mouse on the side. Which makes the unit quite compact - some people may prefer all the cables going into the back; but this design works for me.
Description says it comes with cables... fails to say it is only 2 sets of cables. So make sure you add 2 extra sets if you need them.
boot up
Hi.. can anyone tell me if this prevents boot-up errors by providing keyboard and mouse emulation to the non-selected PC as some state it does
