Cheap And Chearful
operating system:Windows XPI bought this just to try it out on my 3 year old Athlon XP 2100+ Processor. I was well impressed with the drop in temp, my average Cpu temp was 38c which in itself is not all that hot for an Athlon XP. On replacing with Ebuyer thermal compound my normal operating temp is 32c.
I decided to replace the thermal pad on an AMD Sempron 2800+ which was running about 45c average. On replacing with the ebuyer thermal compound, the average temp sits about 38c.
Cheap and chearful but seem to do the job well.
Awesome stuff
operating system:Windows XPThis grease is amazing, bought the antec thermal grease first ( the white one ) and my duron 1400ghz processor ran at:
65 degrees idle
79 degrees full load!
This is clearly NOT good when the processors max operational temp is 90 degrees! Various websites said to use white grease for rough based heatsinks (like mine) but when i used the silver grease i got these results:
40 degrees idle
53 degrees full load
Its not as if im new to building pc's i have been doing it for 4 years now and know all the tricks of the trade, but as i've learned from this, if the white stuff doesnt work for you, check out silver, and dont worry about brand names, they clearly are all the same compostition!
Tis fine
operating system:Windows XPUsed it for a Sempron 2800 which is currently running at 23c not to bad for 35p
Cheap and Good
operating system:Windows XPVery good price for very good performance. Maybe not as good as Artic Silver 5 or Ceramique, but works a treat, it can be messy if you are clumbsy, but as long as you have some isopropyl alchaol(medical grade antiseptic) wipes/fluid it can be dealt with.
