Works Well
operating system:Not ApplicableI bought a few of these and combined with the ADSL2MUE they work well.
They dont support PPoA that we use in the UK so I use the modem in bridged mode and then use PPoE on the RV042
(this should be true of the RV082 as well - despite the old review on that one)
It may pay to set the MTU manually on these items (dead easy - one of the firewall setings) some ISP's work fine others need the setting lowered (for plus.net try 1478)
Some symptoms of wrong MTU is that you can Ping a site but cant open it with web browser, browsing dies after a short time or email attachments wont go.
The latest firmware adds a decent PPTP endpoint that seems to work well.
I'll try the load balancing soon so that could be a feature that is very hard to get elsewhere for this sort of cost.
The VPN does not require client licenses (compare that with some others)
I'd give it five stars if it had QOS, Vlan or more traffic info.
