Parrot Bluetooth Car Kit - Excellent
operating system:Windows XPExcellent car kit, quick and easy to install. Plugs straight in your stereo iso connectors and uses your car speakers as audio output. Fitted in 20 minutes, no skill required. Connected and sychronised with my T610 with no problems. Has its own phonebook, copied from my mobile, and voice recognition system making it the simpliest car kit I've ever installed and used. Also bought a H&B MP3 car stereo, great combination.
Nice piece of kit
operating system:Not ApplicableNice piece of kit, very easy setup. Once it has been paired with your phone, it automatically synchronises with the phone address book whenver the phone is in range. The mute cable dimms the stereo sound during calls, and the call plays through your front speakers. It shows signal strength, phone name and number dialed from the phone, and accesses the last dialed/received/missed lists too.
As you flick through the menus, it speaks the menu name, and you navigate through the phonebook by selecting A,B,C, etc.
I got mine installed by a local car audio dealer and they were impressed enough to start stocking the kit. Apparently there's an equivalent Nokia kit coming out, but which will display text messages on the LCD, but it will cost nearer £250.
The sound is very clear and it works great with my Sony Ericcson K700. Recommended.
Great but not for the Sony Ericsson 750i
operating system:Windows XPHad this kit fitted professionally, and couldn't get it to work with my new SE750i, decided to change phone to Nokia 6230i, which works brilliantly.
Caller display works a treat, and no need to take phone out of pocket or bag, although due to battery drain, I am now turning off bluetooth on my phone until it is needed.
Great piece of kit, and crystal clear sound. Brill!
Simply Awesome
operating system:Not ApplicableThis is my second Parrot kit, the last one I had the guy insisted I gave it to him when I sold the car :)
After experiencing many other inferiour bluetooth kits in friends cars I decided to spend the money and get another Parrot. They are simply the best.
Easy to install, easy to use, extremely versatile and good quality.
They pair with multiple phones which is good if you have more than one driver/phone using the car. They synchronise huge address books and are compatable with just about every phone I've had including my PDA phone. Also the voice recognition is built into the kit not the phone which in my opinion is better because it knows the sound characteristics of the car and therefore is more accurate.
