Asus has unveiled a new "powerful" motherboard, which is capable of supporting an Intel Core i7 processor.
The P6X58D Premium motherboard includes two USB 3.0 ports, two eSATA ports and six SATA 3GB/s ports.
Meanwhile, it also supports both 3-Way SLI from Nvidia and Crossfire X from ATI and the triple-channel DDR3 RAM memory support of up to 24 GB via a x6 DIMM architecture.
Users can also benefit from the Asus TurboV overclocking technology, which will enable them to make micro adjustments of the CPU PLL and modify the DRAM voltages in 0.02V intervals.
With the help of Asus' proprietary Express Gate SSD operating system, users can also connect to the internet without entering Windows OS.
In terms of sound quality, the new P6X58D has the DTS Surround Sensation Ultra PC tech that enhances every 5.1 system's audio quality. It also improves the quality of sound from a regular set of speakers.
