Dell has introduced a new 3D-enabled wireless projector.
The S300w Short Throw Wireless Projector offers a maximum brightness of 2,200 ANSI lumens, contrast ratio of up to 2400:1 and 1280x800 WXGA resolution with native 16:10 aspect ratio.
It has a host of connectivity options for multimedia presentations, including dual VGA, HDMI and microphone ports and can be linked wirelessly with 20 computers simultaneously.
Up to four different screens can be projected at the same time and the S300w boasts impressive short throw distances. It can project a 60in diagonal image from 2ft away, and 90in image from approximately 3ft away.
One aspect of the projector is that it does not cast a shadow on the presentation when someone is between the device and the screen, while its up-close projection capabilities prevent presenters being "blinded" by the bright projector light.
Other features include DLP and BrilliantColor technology for sharp images, and wired networking for power management, updating firmware, checking status and receiving email alerts.
