Garmin has released the new nuvi 2200 and 2300 sat navs which are about more than getting from A to B, according to its director of products.
Clive Taylor noted that the manufacturer has included the latest features on the devices that enhance options when navigating on foot or travelling by public transport.
On the Garmin nuvi 2300 series, consumers can take advantage of the PhotoReal junction view and lane guidance function, as well as the multi-route preview mode which enables customers to choose a journey based on time, fuel costs or distance.
The 2200 series has a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and each model has lane assist as standard and an ecoRoute mode designed to help people conserve fuel and money.
Similar products available from the organisation include the Garmin 1200, which comes with speed camera warnings and a pocket design, as well as spoken street names.
