Details of a new LG device that appears to be a smartphone-tablet hybrid have been revealed in a new online video published on the brand's Korean blog.
The LG Optimus Vu has a five-inch touchscreen, 4:3 aspect ratio, a dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor and an eight-megapixel camera.
It also boasts internal memory of 8GB and is being touted as a potential rival to the Samsung Galaxy Note, which has a 5.3-inch touch-sensitive display and was unveiled last year. The Galaxy Note also features a 1.4Ghz dual core processor and an eight-megapixel camera.
There are few other details of the LP Optimus Vu available, but it is possible the manufacturer will announce further information at the Mobile World Congress, which kicks off in Barcelona on February 27th.
Most of the other major mobile phone companies are expected to be in attendance at the event, including Nokia, Samsung, Ericsson, HTC and Motorola.
