Microsoft has said that over two million Xbox Live members have logged into networking sites like Facebook following its launch of the social media features a week ago.
David Dennis, a spokesperson for Microsoft, said that at least two million users logged into Facebook in the first week - a tenth of Xbox Live's total active members.
He continued that around half a million Last.FM accounts were created within the first 24 hours of the update to Xbox Live, which has a total of 20 million members worldwide.
Gamers streamed 120 million minutes of music on Last.FM over the one-week period.
Mr Dennis did not give out any details about how many gamers logged into Twitter, however, he claimed that the company has seen posts "from nearly every market where we have Xbox Live".
He added that 1.7 million Xbox Live users had watched videos from the new Zune store.
