Panasonic DMR-BS880 has "flawless picture performance"

Anyone in the market for a new Blu-ray player may find exactly what they are looking for in the Panasonic DMR-BS880 which, as one critic observed, comes with "flawless picture performance".

Danny Phillips of Trusted Reviews scored this latest offering from the manufacturer eight out of ten for design, a massive ten out of ten for features, nine out of ten for performance, seven out of ten for value and nine out of ten overall.

Some of the enhancements that so impressed him included a "top-drawer" BD Live Blu-ray player, an "excellent" remote control that makes its use feel entirely intuitive and HD audio decoding.

"[It] commands respect with a jaw-dropping amount of Blu-ray and Freesat features, flawless picture performance and a wonderful-looking operating system," Mr Phillips concluded.

However, the DMP-BDT300 could also be well worth a peek, as back in July it received a Home Cinema Choice Best Buy award.
