Samsung has revealed its Tocco Lite 2 smartphone is due to be released in early March.
Featuring a 3.2-megapixel camera and a three-inch LCD screen, the device is the successor to the first Tocco Lite phone - which sold some 30 million copies worldwide - and comes with a built-in music player.
In addition, the Tocco Lite 2 is to feature ChatON - the firm's communication service - which provides quick and easy access to social media sites like Twitter and Facebook and instant messaging programs such as Google Talk.
"Our aim with this new handset is to build on the features we know our customers enjoy and find useful by providing greater synergy between their mobile handset and their social networks," Simon Stanford, managing director of Samsung's UK telecoms and networks division, states.
He adds that while the original Tocco Lite and Tocco Icon handsets have been among the firm's best-selling mobile phones in recent years, the new device will offer users "improved social networking and enhanced multimedia capabilities".
Last month, Samsung announced the launch of its Galaxy S Advance smartphone, which has a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor and a five-megapixel camera.
