Sanyo has launched three cameras in its Xacti Dual Cameras range that can take pictures with a resolution of up to 14 megapixels.
The Xacti VPC- GH1 is able to create images of 14 megapixels, while the CG100 and CG20 models have capabilities of producing pictures with a resolution of up to 14 megapixels.
A 12x double range zoom is available on the GH1 and CG100 devices and all three will be available to buy in the UK in March.
The dual cameras have 2.7-inch LCD displays, which can be rotated 285 degrees and the GH1 features a double record button.
An intuitive menu guidance system makes the cameras "very simple to operate", according to the manufacturer and all three can record data on the SDXC, SD or SDHC cards.
Other dual cameras available from the developer include the Sanyo VPC-CS1, which it claims is the worlds "smallest and lightest" Full HD camcorder.
