Tom Tom has announced its GO LIVE 1000 range, which it has described as the "future of driving".
One of the gadgets launched by the satnav manufacturer includes the Tom Tom GO LIVE 1005, which has a five-inch extra-wide touchscreen and an "even easier operation and functionality".
Damian Woodward, vice-president of sales and marketing at the organisation, said that consumers will be able to get to their destinations "faster, safer and smarter than ever before" thanks to the quicker route calculation and HD traffic information modes.
And consumers will get the latter feature free for a year to ensure they know where the jams are in order to avoid them.
Moreover, the satnavs come with a fluid touchscreen which enables motorists to zoom in and out by pinching the display.
Drivers may also be interested in the TomTom GO 750 LIVE, which has a built-in hands-free calling option.
