There is a lot of skill around in the UK video games industry, according to one industry expert.
Phil Elliott, publisher and managing editor of GamesIndustry.biz, noted that the sector has been helped out by the economy and there is an element of recovery for these types of jobs.
He added: "There are some universities working closely with developers to provide good talent and there is no reason to think that this will not continue."
Mr Elliott stated that the move by TIGA - which serves the interests of games developers and businesses - to an individual membership might be beneficial to some in terms of the industry's jobs market.
In addition, he noted that traditionally the UK has made good moves in the development sector with important franchises, such as Grand Theft Auto - a British series developed by Rockstar Games - manufactured in the nation.
